The primary objective of Idaho EPSCoR is to stimulate research in niche areas that can become fully competitive in the disciplinary and multidisciplinary research programs of the National Science Foundation and other relevant agencies. Idaho EPSCoR provides support for sustainable increases in Research and Development capacity and advances science and engineering capabilities within the state.

INFEWS/T2: Identifying sustainability solutions through global-local-global analysis of the coupled water-agriculture-bioenergy system

Lightning talks presented by researchers from around the country that highlights the challenges they experienced with stakeholder engagement in FEWS projects and lessons learned from engagement. This presentation highlighted the most important lessons learned including allowing stakeholder groups to be dynamic and engaged, listen, keep members informed, and take time for planning and reaching out individually to stakeholders to build and maintain relationships.
