LaCroix. (1) Daily loads were calculated by multiplying measured total phosphorus (TP) concentrations by the corresponding discharge values (both occurring at 15:00). (2) The natural log of daily TP loads was then plotted as a function of the natural log of discharge and a linear relationship was determined. (2) A bias-correction factor was estimated as the mean of the residuals. (2) To estimate daily TP loading, the linear model and corresponding bias-correction factor was applied to the continuous discharge data for each site in the log transformed form. (3) The daily TP loading estimates were summed to estimate annual loads. The data file named \u0022Smearing Method MW_TP.csv\u0022 is the main Fernan Creek inflow station record. The data file \u0022Smearing Method NS_TP.csv\u0022 is the Stacel Creek station record. The file \u0022Smearing Method OF_TP.csv\u0022 is the outflow dam station record. Each data file has a separate \u0022readme\u0022 file to explain each data column fully.
